A blessing for the New Year
As you enter the New Year, may you take the pressure off yourself.
May you stop pushing and stop striving.
May you remember you do not have to earn your worth.
May you listen for your inner wisdom.
The quiet voice beneath the noise.
The one that speaks through your body and your breath.
May your heart soften.
May it guide you gently.
May you trust what you already know.
May you be free from suffering.
May what aches find kindness.
May what is wounded find healing.
May you live in peace.
Not because life is easy.
But because you are rooted.
In the deep knowing that we belong to one another.
May you notice what is good.
The glimmers and the ordinary grace.
May gratitude flow from your heart without effort.
As this year opens,
May you walk it lightly.
Held by your own deep knowing.
Held by the One Great Heart.

Ah Sara - it is so very lovely to get this gorgeous message from you. Don't worry at all about not replying. The visionboard workshop went ahead and it was very well received. It was a deeply nourishing, spacious and connecting time for all of us. So much so it looks like we will be meeting again as a group. I totally hear what you're saying about it being online. I would love to do these things face to face. And for now though my work will be online online - to be honest even I was shocked by how deep we were able to go together online. i did a lot of work to make sure the space was really well held. ... I'm running another one around Imbolc if you're interested. I'lll tag you on the invitation. Yes my little ones are 11 and soon to be 10. We will know what secondary school Poppy goes to this year in March. We are hoping for Anglo European. Eek.
I am so very sorry to hear about your mum and that Martin has been having health problems. I am caring more and more for my mum... she is 81 and still gorgeous but really struggling with memory, balance and deteriorating eye sight. Life can be really hard can't it. And beautiful in turns. How wonderful to have an excuse to go to New Zealand; it sounds like all your children are doing so well. You must be so proud. And wow retired! Very very early retirement surely? I bet you have lots of amazing adventures up your sleeve. Wishing you so much wonder and love and joy and peace in 2026. God bless and go very gently. Tania x
Thank you Tania that was lovely to read. Wishing you a wonderful 2026. I have just remembered that I didn't reply to your message regarding your Sacred Vision Board workshop that you sent before Christmas. I apologise for being so rude and not replying. That would have been lovely but I'd have rather been face to face, but thank you for thinking of me and hopefully we can be face to face soon!
Hope is everything going for you? your little ones will be growing up fast! 2025 was a very tumultuous year for me with caring for my Mum, and sadly losing her. Martin has been having some health difficulties, Ed moved in with his girlfriend, and Becca moved to New Zealand with hers! Ally still studying hard and living in Lincoln but hoping that will change. But the really good thing is I have just retired!! 13 days in! Sending you lots of love
